Red Storm Cross Country Competes At NCAA Regionals

The St. John???s cross country team participated in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., on Saturday. The Red Storm finished in 32nd place among some of the best teams in the east.
Senior Jodey Johnson crossed the line first for St. John???s in 24:30.6 on the 6K course. Freshman Pamela Petruski finished the race in 24:47.6 while sophomore Rakibat Abiola posted a time of 26:26.5. Freshman Sarah Fry and junior Nerissa Pelle rounded out the scoring for the Red Storm. Fry clocked in at 27:17.1 while Pelle strided in at 30:13.7.
St. John???s concludes its season next Saturday, Nov. 18 at Van Cortlandt Park when the team competes for the ECAC Championship.
