Sophomore Guard Cedric Jackson To Transfer From St. John's

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's head men's basketball coach Norm Roberts announced that sophomore guard Cedric Jackson (Columbus, N.J.) plans to transfer to another institution following the University's spring semester.

"We wish Cedric the best," said Roberts. "He is a young man who put in a tremendous amount of hard work and effort in representing St. John's basketball."

Jackson played in 27 games as a sophomore, starting 10. He averaged 4.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in 24.0 minutes.
