The St. John's baseball team's Saturday contest versus Quinnipiac has been cancelled due to inclement weather, head coach Ed Blankmeyer announced on Friday. The second of two weekend games against the Bobcats remains as scheduled on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Sunday's game will be the start of a week that features three non-conference home contests and the team's first BIG EAST Conference series at Connecticut from Friday through Sunday. Fairfield is scheduled to come to Queens on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and Temple on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
