Jessica Clinton Named Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Jessica Clinton, a 2004 Boston University graduate and four-year starting goalkeeper for the Terriers??? women???s soccer team, will join St. John???s as an assistant coach, head coach Ian Stone announced today.
???The St. John???s women???s soccer program is very excited to welcome Jessica Clinton to our coaching staff,??? Stone said. ???Jess was a high-level goalkeeper who enjoyed a great college career at Boston University. Her knowledge of the position and passion for the game make her a valuable addition to our family.???
Clinton comes to St. John???s after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Bergen County Community College in Paramus, N.J., and has been involved as a counselor and trainer at several goalkeeping academies.
A goalkeeper for the America East Champion BU women???s soccer team in 2000, 2001 and 2003, Clinton was a three-time all-conference selection. She was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2003 America East Championship Tournament and was a National Soccer Coaches Association of America regional selection in 2001 and 2003.
