St. John’s Announces Partnership with Food Bazaar Supermarket

Athletic Department Launches “Official Supermarket of St. John’s Athletics” Partnership with Food Bazaar
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's Athletics and LEARFIELD have announced the beginning of a new multi-year partnership with Food Bazaar Supermarket to become the "Official Supermarket of St. John's Athletics." With 29 supermarkets located throughout Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, Food Bazaar will proudly serve the Red Storm community with exceptional products and shopping experience.
"We're very excited to lend our support to the outstanding athletics program at St. John's University. Food Bazaar has been serving the families of New York for over 30 years, and this partnership with St. John's is a wonderful extension of our ongoing commitment to our communities," said Spencer An, President Food Bazaar Supermarket.
Red Storm fans, students and alumni will see a strong Food Bazaar branding presence during men's and women's basketball games. They will also be able to take advantage of exclusive discounts and offers through Food Bazaar's digital activations year-round. Additionally, Food Bazaar will directly support St. John's student-athletes as the presenting partner of the department's fueling station, which provides nutritious grab-and-go offerings on a daily basis.

"We are excited to welcome another tremendous partner that has both a strong presence in our region and shares our commitment to make a positive impact on our student-athletes as well as in the local community."
In addition to the partnership, Food Bazaar is pleased to announce a new Free Throws for Meals promotion for the 2021-22 Red Storm basketball season. Food Bazaar will donate $10 in food for every free throw made by the St. John's men's basketball team. All proceeds raised will directly benefit the St. John's Bread and Life.
