St. John’s recognizes 74 student-athletes in the National College Athlete Honor Society
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's athletic department recognized 74 student-athletes in the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society in March.
Chi Alpha Sigma is a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. The honor society is the first and only academic fraternity that specifically recognizes four-year collegiate student-athletes for their athletic and academic successes.
Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college student-athletes who participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester with at least one full year in residence, and earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average.
