QUEENS, N.Y. - Team Notes

St. John's has now won 12-straight against Columbia dating back to Dec. 11, 1979.
St. John's grabbed 20 offensive rebounds en route to a 41-40 advantage on the glass. The Red Storm is averaging 17.0 offensive rebounds per game this season.
The Red Storm made a season-high 10 3-pointers, shooting 43.5 percent (10-of-23) from long range on the night.
St. John's had a 34-12 advantage in the paint.

Individual Notes

D.J. Kennedy scored 18 points to climb to 29th place on the all-time scoring chart. Kennedy, who now has 1,198 career points, passed Jason Buchanan and Shawnelle Scott.
Paris Horne finished with eight points and now has 947 career points. Horne also made a pair of 3-pointers to move into third place in the all-time career record books with 124 3-pointers made.
With a 10-point effort, Dwayne Polee II has now scored in double-figures in each of his first two career games in a St. John's uniform and is averaging 13.0 point per game.
Shooting 6-of-9 from the floor, Justin Brownlee scored a career-high 15 points. The senior also made a pair of 3-pointers to tie a career-best.
Sophomore Malik Stith made a career-high three 3-pointers and scored in double-figures for the second-straight game. Stith, who was 0-for-6 from beyond the arc in 2009-10, has already made four 3-pointers this season and is shooting 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from long range.
Appearing in his first contest since Nov. 28, 2009, Quincy Roberts had two points and one assist in six minutes of action.
Justin Burrell grabbed six rebounds and is averaging 6.5 boards per game this year.
