Rick Pitino to Appear on Tonight’s Edition of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”

QUEENS, N.Y. – The 2024-25 National Coach of the Year Rick Pitino will be featured on tonight's episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" beginning at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
Coach Pitino will be featured in a segment with writer Asher Perlman, as he continues to train towards reaching his goal of dunking a basketball. "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" airs on CBS at 11:35pm ET/PT and is available to stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
Stephen Colbert took over as host of "The Late Show" in September 2015. The show is taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan.
Pitino, a 50-year coaching veteran captured three of the four major National Coach of the Year awards this past season. The 2013 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee guided St. John's to a BIG EAST Tournament and Regular Season Champion, a No. 2 seed and a program-record tying 31-5 overall record.
