- Sophomore Paris Horne set a new career-high with 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the floor. Horne was also 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. The performance was Horne's first-career 20+ point game.
- Horne's 27 points were a game-high and marked the fifth time that he led the team in scoring.
- In 13 games since entering the starting lineup, Horne has averaged 13.6 points and 3.2 rebounds, while shooting 46.6 percent (69-of-148) from the floor.
- D.J. Kennedy tallied 12 points for his third-straight double-figure game. Kennedy also added four steals and handed out a career-high seven assists.
- Kennedy has led the team in assists in five of the last six games.
- Freshman Quincy Roberts set a new career-high with five assists. Roberts also added six points and seven rebounds.
- Roberts has averaged 8.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in five games as a starter.
- St. John's shot 44.8 percent in the first half and 41.8 percent for the game against a UConn defense that has allowed the opposition to shoot just 37.9 percent this year.
