St. John’s Basketball to Air on 570 WMCA, 970 WNYM

QUEENS, N.Y. – For the fifth-straight season, the St. John's IMG Sports Network has partnered with Salem Media Group to bring Red Storm basketball fans radio broadcasts on sister stations 570 WMCA and 970 WNYM.

Of the team's scheduled 31 regular season games, 28 will be carried over the airwaves in the world's largest media market. Three games will be available only on Sirius XM Radio and through the TuneIn Radio app. All 31 games will available outside the region through Sirius XM and TuneIn.

John Minko, the voice of the Red Storm, returns for another season of play-by-play, while Brandon Tierney, Vin Parise and Tarik Turner will split analyst duties.

Coverage for each game will begin 20 minutes prior to tip-off.

St. John's opens the season on Nov. 6 when the Red Storm hosts Loyola Maryland at Carnesecca Arena as part of the Legends Classic. Tip-off is slated for 6:30 p.m. and the game will air on 570 AM WMCA with television coverage available on FOX Sports Networks.
