Alumni Vincent Iannelli and Terence Mullin to be recognized for their loyal support of the men’s basketball program
QUEENS, N.Y. – Longtime St. John's supporters Vincent Iannelli '73NDC and Terence Mullin '93CBA have been announced as the honorees for this year's Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic to be held on Sept. 19 at North Hempstead Country Club and the Village Club of Sands Points.
Iannelli, a season ticket holder since 1968 and a member of the Red White Club for more than 50 years, serves as Secretary of Iannelli Construction Co. and has been a staple of the industry in New York for decades. In addition to his duties at Iannelli Construction Co., he also sits on the Board of Governors for the Associated General Contractors of New York State after previously serving as the organization's chairman. He is also a board member of the Javits Convention Center Development Corporation and the St. John's University Real Estate Advisement Committee.
In addition to his professional accolades, Iannelli is the Board Chair of Bay Ridge Catholic Academy and a Board member of Catholic Migration Services of Brooklyn, The Cathedral Club of Brooklyn and the Heartshare School of Brooklyn. He is also a former Board member of Xaverian High School and Fontbonne Hall Academy, both of Brooklyn.
A four-year letter winner on the St. John's men's basketball team, Mullin serves as Vice President, Account Executive for Fidelity National Title's New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. He has spent the past 20 years in the title industry developing relationships with institutional lenders, developers, property owners, law firms and their clients, while managing single-site deals as well as multi-site and multi-state commercial real estate transactions.
Mullin's commitment goes well beyond his work at Fidelity National Title. He is currently on the Committee for PAL which "works to prevent juvenile crime and violence and build a bond between cops and kids," as well as the committee for Future's In Education which gives partial scholarships to families in financial need of tuition assistance enrolled in Catholic grammar schools in Brooklyn and Queens. Mullin is also involved in his parish, St. Francis DeSales and its CYO basketball program.
Mullin earned a B.A. in Marketing from St. John's University and lives in Belle Harbor with his wife Chrissy and their five children.
Registration for the Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic is now open. Questions regarding registration or sponsorship opportunities can be directed to Maria Gonzalez Bullon '18CPS, 20'MBA at gonzalm5@stjohns.edu.
