St. John’s wing earns his third Honor Roll selection after 24-point, 10-rebound showing in a 77-64 win over Harvard

QUEENS, N.Y. – For the third time this season, St. John's junior RJ Luis Jr. was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Monday.

The 6-foot-7 wing out of Miami, produced his third 20-point, double-double effort of the season in the Johnnies' 77-63 win over Harvard on Saturday at Carnesecca Arena. Luis posted a game-high 24 points, shooting 50 percent (9-18 FG) from the field to go with 10 boards. The junior wing also recorded four assists in 33 minutes of action.

Luis leads the Red Storm and ranks fourth in the BIG EAST with 17.6 points per game. His 6.8 rebounds per game are also tied for the team lead with Zuby Ejiofor, which also ranks seventh in the conference.

St. John's will continue its four-game homestand when it welcomes Kansas State for the Big 12 – BIG EAST Battle on Saturday. Tip-off from Carnesecca Arena is slated for 11:30 a.m. on FOX.
