St. John’s to Induct 2024 Hall of Fame Class this Fall

Red Storm Department of Athletics to Host Enshrinement Ceremony for 25th Induction Class
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's Department of Athletics announced Tuesday its plans to induct the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 this fall.
Led by a 13-member St. John's Athletics Hall of Fame committee, which features former student-athletes and coaches, administrators and supporters, the nomination process has commenced to identify the worthy honorees for the 25th induction class. To nominate a candidate for the St. John's Athletics Hall of Fame, please email biographical and supporting information to Stephen Dombroski (dombross@stjohns.edu) by Friday, July 19, 2024.
Last year, St. John's inducted a eight-member class on October 28, 2023. The distinguished cohort featured baseball All-American and Major League Baseball (MLB) first round selection Craig Hansen, men's basketball standouts Gus Alfieri, Greg "Boo" Harvey and Bernard Rencher, women's basketball's all-time leading scorer Aliyyah Handford, BIG EAST Softball Player of the Year Erin Burner, men's soccer All-American Ben Hickey, women's soccer All-American Diana Poulin.
Established in 1984-85, the St. John's Athletics Hall of Fame consists of over 180 members representing the majority of the Red Storm's current sports teams as well as discontinued programs. In addition to former student-athletes and coaches, numerous administrators and honorary members have been inducted into the Hall for their valued contributions and accomplishments during their time associated with St. John's Athletics.
