St. John’s Unveils 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Promotional Calendar

The Red Storm will honor the 2024-25 BIG EAST Championship team with banner unveiling on Nov. 3
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's Athletic Department has unveiled its promotional calendar for the men's basketball season ahead of the highly-anticipated 2025-26 campaign.
The season-long promotional schedule features exclusive giveaways, theme nights and special offers for all 17 home games. The defending BIG EAST Regular Season and Tournament Champion Red Storm will play five games at Carnesecca Arena and 12 at Madison Square Garden, the program's highest total of regular season contests at "The World's Most Famous Arena" in 74 years.
On Nov. 3, the Red Storm will begin the 2025-26 season against Quinnipiac for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off at Carnesecca Arena. Prior to the game, St. John's will celebrate its 2025 BIG EAST Tournament and Regular Season titles and recognize 2024-25 National Coach of the Year Rick Pitino with a banner unveiling. The 2024-25 Johnnies' squad went 18-2 in league competition to capture the regular season crown before going onto win their first conference tournament title in 25 years. Pitino, in his second year at the helm in Queens, took home three of the four major national coach of the year awards. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a mini 2024-25 BIG EAST Championship banner.
The Red Storm will get in the ring for its Madison Square Garden debut against Alabama on Nov. 8. WWE Women's Heavyweight World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will be in attendance and participate in in-game activations during the pivotal non-conference contest. The Red Storm Athletic Department will celebrate its new partnership with its new apparel provider adidas during its debut at "The Mecca."
As conference play commences, the Red Storm will host a "Red Out" for its BIG EAST opener against DePaul on Dec. 16 at Carnesecca Arena. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear their Johnnies colors and will receive a red rally towel. The first 200 fans will receive a free cookie courtesy of Chip City.
On Jan. 20, St. John's will continue its annual Coca-Cola Bobblehead Legends Series as it meets Seton Hall at Madison Square Garden. The first 5,000 fans will receive a Keegan Bradley bobblehead.
The St. John's alumnus is currently the No. 14 ranked golfer in the world according to the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and served as United Stats Ryder Cup captain at Bethpage Black in September.
The fourth annual Johnnies Day will be held on Feb. 21 as St. John's battles Creighton at The Mecca. Established in 2022, Johnnies Day celebrates the rich history of St. John's University and its contributions here in New York City and globally since the school was founded in 1870. Since its inception, the Red Storm men's and women's basketball programs are a combined 6-0 on Johnnies Day. Fans are encouraged to show their St. John's pride by wearing St. John's gear.

On Dec. 13, the Johnnies will host their annual "Hoops for Heroes" game when it takes on Iona on Dec. 13 as it recognizes first responders. On Feb. 6, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference and the Black Fives Foundation, St. John's will pay homage to the history of African Americans in basketball during Black History Month when it meets Connecticut at MSG.
During its final two home contests, the Johnnies will host a "White Out" against Villanova on Feb. 28. On March 3, the Red Storm will host Senior Night honoring the program's senior prior to its regular season home finale against Georgetown.
