As a Sophomore (2017)
Played in 18 games for the Red Storm, making 17 starts... registered one assist on the campaign against Xavier (Sept. 23)... played a key role in the BIG EAST's top back line, helping the Johnnies finish 15th nationally with a 0.71 goals against average... anchored the Red Storm to eight clean sheets on the season... played 80 or more minutes in 16 of his 18 appearances... played the entirety of the game 13 times.
As a Freshman (2016)
Played in 12 games, making starts in all 12 appearances… started the team’s first nine games before missing five of the final eight games due to injury… played 90 minutes or more in the team’s first two games against Drexel (Aug. 26) and Saint Peter’s (Aug. 31)… registered three shots in his collegiate debut against the Dragons… tallied a shot against Syracuse (Sept. 4)… recorded his first career shot on goal at Princeton (Sept. 8)… played the full 110 minutes in the team’s scoreless draw at Marquette, firing off a shot on goal (Sept. 17)… recorded a complete game in the Red Storm’s 1-0 win over Seton Hall (Sept. 24)… had shots in his final two games of the season against Loyola (Oct. 11 ) and DePaul (Oct. 29).

Spent his last two seasons with Djurgardens IF, one of the most successful clubs in Scandinavian history… has been a starter for both the U-19 (2015) and U-17 (2014) squads, and has also seen some action with the U-21 team… playing for IF Brommapojkarna in 2013, Nilsson served as a team captain and started every game for the U-17 squad.
