HATTEN NAMED TO GREAT ALASKA SHOOTOUT ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

Hatten, a transfer from Tallassee Community College, scored 51 points in the three game tournament format for an average of 17.0 points per game and broke the record for most steals in the 24-year history of the Great Alaska Shootout with 16.
The 6-1 Baltimore, Maryland native tied the single game steal record with eight versus Tennessee in a 69-55 win and amassed 19 assists for the week to average 6.3 per game. Hatten leads SJU in scoring after four games with a 14.5 average and tops the list with 21 assists and 17 steals to pace the Red Storm (3-1).
Joining Hatten on the Great Alaska Shootout All-Tournament Team were Marquette's Dwayne Wade (Most Outstanding), Dan Dickau and Zach Gourde (Gonzaga), Vincent Yarbrough (Tennessee), Chris Owens and T.J. Ford (Texas), Peter Bullock (Alaska-Anchorage), Jared Jeffries and Dane Fife (Indiana) and Philip Ricci (Oregon State).
