Quinnipiac-St. Johns Game to be Televised

JAMAICA, N.Y. -- The St. Johns University mens basketball game against Quinnipiac, to be played this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Alumni Hall, will be televised. The game will be shown live on WCTX-TV in Connecticut (cable channel 59).

The satellite coordinates for the game are SBS 6, Transponder 3, downlink frequency 11774. Glenn Conticello will handle the play-by-play and Mike Becca will be the color analyst.

This will be the first ever meeting between the Braves, of the Northeast Conference (3-6, 2-2 NEC), and the Red Storm. Quinnipiac is coached by Joe DeSantis, an assistant coach for St. Johns under Brian Mahoney during the 1995-96 season. St. Johns enters Saturdays game having won four-straight games, including a 72-60 decision last weekend over 20th-ranked Wake Forest.
