Hatten Named JC Transfer of the Year

Hatten averaged 22.3 points per game in conference play, leading the BIG EAST. Hatten also added 5.3 rebounds per game and 4.69 assists per game. He was second in the league in steals averaging 3.3 steals per game.
Hatten set a school record for steals in a season with 97. Early in the season Hatten broke a record in the Great Alaskan Shootout for steals in one game with eight against Tennessee and later on set a Tournament record for steals with 16.
In an 85-83 overtime victory over Connecticut, Hatten set a school and BIG EAST record for free throws with 21.
This is the fifth postseason honor that Hatten has received. He was named to the First-Team All-BIG EAST, All-District II team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, All-District II by the National Writers Association and was a College Hoops Insider All-Junior College Transfer selection.
