Hatten Playing for NIT All-Star Team

Hatten, a preseason All-American candidate, led the Red Storm in scoring average (20.1), steals (105), minutes per game (36.7), and assists per game (4.5) in 2000-01. In BIG EAST conference play, Hatten led the league in scoring averaging (22.3) and was second in the league in steals (3.3).
Hatten received numerous postseason accolades in 2001-02, earning first-team BIG EAST honors, winning the Haggerty Award (top Metropolitan player), named All-District II by the National Association of Basketball Coaches and was a College Hoops Insider All-Junior College Transfer selection.
The NIT All-Stars are currently on a seven game tour of Canada and next play on Thursday, July 25 against the Canadian Mens National team in Ontario, Canada. The Canadian Mens National team features former St. Johns basketball player Rowan Barrett, who played for the Red Storm from 1993-96.
