St. Johns University Set to Celebrate Homecoming Saturday

Jamaica, N.Y. - On Saturday, February 15, St. Johns University will host a fun filled day of events to mark this years Homecoming. The festivities start at 11 a.m. when the day kicks-off with the Pre-Game SJU Fest, which will be held at the Marillac Terrace, with a five-dollar admission you will receive a free t-shirt and be participants in games and eligible to receive prizes. There will also be tours of the campus at no charge.

At 1 p.m. the events continue with a Pep Rally, complete with the St. Johns Cheerleaders, Dance Team and Pep Band. Following the Pep Rally, fans can head over to Alumni Hall for a 2 p.m. tip-off between BIG EAST rivals Providence Friars and the Red Storm in a crucial conference match up. Tickets are twenty dollars per person, which can be purchased through the box office. The half time show will feature The Extreme Team Worlds #1 Acrobatic Slam Dunk Team.

The day will conclude at Marillac after at a post game gathering where students and alumni can mingle with each other, as well as Head Coach Mike Jarvis. Tickets for the post game gathering are $25 for adults at the door and $19 if purchased in advance. Tickets for children under the age of 12 are five dollars.
