August 27, 2004, Queens, N.Y. - St. John's University Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Athletics David C. Wegrzyn announced today that senior Mohamed Diakite and sophomore Lamont Hamilton have been reinstated to the men's basketball team for the upcoming season.

Both players completed a disciplinary course of action as outlined by the University and will return to the active roster immediately.
