BRISTOL, Conn. - ESPN.com college basketball analyst Andy Katz featured the Red Storm men's basketball team in his daily Insider Blog on Wednesday afternoon. Previewing the 2005-06 college basketball season, Katz notes in his column some of the many reasons for "Optimism at St. John's."
"Expect St. John's to be more athletic, active and aggressive on defense this season, said Katz. "And don't be surprised to see a bit of swagger, too."
He continued, "The Red Storm are convinced they will turn the corner this, Norm Roberts' second season in the major rebuilding project in Queens, after finishing 3-13 in the Big East, 9-18 overall last year."
