On Tonight???s Game
???Give Illinois State credit, they played very well. They made some shots and did a good job of executing. We didn???t do a very good job defensively early on. We???ve got to do a better job getting to loose balls, rebounds and those energy things that we normally do and are not doing. We???ve got to get back to that.???
On the team???s turnovers:
???We had so many turnovers early that were not forced at all. Our big guys have got to do a better job -- they had eight turnovers themselves. We???ve got to do a much better job of handling the basketball.???

???We are mad at ourselves and embarrassed, we just didn???t come out our toughest today, didn???t play hard and didn???t defend. We didn???t do the things we do in practice.???

???I???m mad because we lost. They are a good team but we???ve got to come in and dominate and do what we do in practice. We play hard in practice, we rebound and defend each other but we???ve got to bring that to the court.???
On what they learned from tonight???s game:
???This was just like the Maryland game. We learned from that game that we shouldn???t come out poor and down, we need to come out with a lot of intensity. We did that today, we didn???t come out ready, we were turning it over early and we didn???t bring the intensity. I think this game just taught us that we can???t go back, we???ve got to keep pushing forward.???
