- The Red Storm's 48 first half points were the most since the squad scored 49 against then-No. 21 Notre Dame on January 23, 2007.
- The Red Storm has scored at least 70 points in two straight games. The last time this happened was on November 10 and November 11 of the 2006-07 season--also in the first two games of the year.
- The Red Storm's 27-point margin of victory was the largest since February 6, 2002 when St. John's defeated Fairfield 95-56 (+39).
- St. John's began the game on a 10-0 run in the opening 1:59.
- The Red Storm connected on three straight 3-pointers during the span as Larry Wright made two and Eugene Lawrence added the third.
- The Red Storm had a second 10-0 run in a 2:52 span later in the first half. This run was capped with a Lawrence 3-pointer that brought the Red Storm lead to 35-11.
- Dele Coker grabbed his first career rebound and finished the game with five boards.
- Mike Cavataio made his collegiate debut and played ten minutes. He tallied two points, a rebound and a block.
- Sean Evans made his first career basket and finished with four points and five rebounds.
- D.J. Kennedy followed up his 14 rebound performance by adding nine boards. Kennedy also connected on his first career 3-pointer.
- Justin Burrell tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds to earn his first career double-double.
- Tomas Jasiulionis tied a career high with three blocks in just 11 minutes.
- Eugene Lawrence had a game-high eight assists and added 17 points. Lawrence was perfect from the floor going 5-of-5 from the field and 3-of-3 from 3-point range.
