QUEENS, N.Y. -
- The 92 points scored by St. John's is the most since February 6, 2002 when the Red Storm put up 95 points against Fairfield.
- The Red Storm has now scored at least 70 points in three straight games. This is the first time that St. John's has done this since 2003 when the squad accomplished it in five straight games from March 3-13.
- St. John's won the tap and opened up with a 13-3 run to start the game.
- The Red Storm set new season highs in points (92), three-pointers made (11), field goals made (34) and assists (21).
- St. John's outscored Fairleigh Dickinson 17-0 on the fast break and held a 24-4 edge in points off of turnovers.
- Larry Wright connected on six 3-pointers to establish a new career high.
- Justin Burrell tallied 15 points and 14 rebounds to earn his second-straight and second-career double-double.
- Malik Boothe set new career marks with eight points and six assists.
- D.J. Kennedy scored 18 points to set a new career high and added a career high two 3-pointers.
- Red Storm walk-on Matt Duell made his collegiate debut and scored his first career points after connecting on a 3-pointer moments after entering the game.
- Otoja Abit saw action for the second straight game and blocked his second career shot.
- Eugene Lawrence dished out nine assists and now has 432 for his career. For the season, Lawrence has 22 assists to go with only three turnovers. He is now just 17 behind Chris Mullin (449) for fourth place in the all-time record books.
