- St. John's scored at least 70 points for the fourth time in four games this year.
- The 44 points scored by Howard were the fewest allowed by the Red Storm since Dec. 20, 2006 when St. John's defeated BU, 45-44, in overtime.
- St. John's scored 42 points in the first half, the most points scored in the opening frame since tallying 42 against FDU on Nov. 25, 2007.
- The Red Storm made a season-high seven 3-pointers and shot a season-high 46.7 percent from beyond the arc.
- St. John's committed a season-low seven turnovers.
- The Red Storm's 17 offensive rebounds were a season high and the squad is 3-0 when outrebounding the opposition.
- D.J. Kennedy scored in double figures for the third time this season and added his third-career double-double.
- In his first career start, Paris Horne played a career-high 35 minutes and set a new career-high with 15 points.
- Tomas Jasiulionis made his first appearance of the season and added five points and four rebounds.
- Phil Wait grabbed a career-high two rebounds and also added his first career assist and block.
- Rob Thomas tied a career-high with eight points and set a new career-high with eight rebounds, including six offensive boards.
- St. John's scored 21 second-half points and also converted 17 Howard turnovers into 16 points.
- The Red Storm outscored Howard, 40-20, in the paint.
- After winning the tip, St. John's jumped out to a 19-3 run in the first half.
- St. John's had a season-high six blocks and added seven steals.
- The Red Storm held Howard to just 33.3 percent shooting, including 26.7 percent from long range.
