QUEENS, N.Y. -
- For the fifth time in five games this season, the Red Storm totaled at least 70 points.
- St. John's grabbed a season-high 50 rebounds and outrebounded the Eagles, 50-28. The Red Storm holds a +32 margin on the boards over the past two games (92-60). St. John's is 4-0 on the year when winning the battle of the boards.
- Led by Justin Burrell's three blocks, St. John's posted a season-high seven blocks.
- For the third straight game, Paris Horne scored in double-figures. In his past two games, both as a starter, Horne is averaging 12.5 points and 4.0 rebounds.
- Quincy Roberts tallied new career-highs in points (6) and rebounds (7). Averaging 20.5 minutes played over the past two games, the freshman has averaged 5.0 points and 4.5 rebounds.
- Malik Boothe reached double-figures for the third time this season and also tallied six assists. Boothe has dished at least five assists in four of five games and is averaging 5.8 assists per game.
- D.J. Kennedy reached double-figures for the fourth time this season and also led the team in scoring for the third time this year. Kennedy also made seven free throws to tie a career-high.
- Sean Evans and Roberts each grabbed a game-high seven rebounds. Evans grabbed a game-high four offensive boards and has totaled at least six boards in four games this year.
