2008-09 St. John's Pregame Alumni Receptions

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's Alumni are invited to gather for pregame receptions held before five of the remaining Red Storm men's basketball contests. Hoops fans can take advantage of this opportunity to reconnect with fellow alums at these pregame events before the Red Storm clashes with UConn (Jan. 15), Louisville (Feb. 8), Duke (Feb. 19), Seton Hall (Feb. 22) and Georgetown (March 3).
Beginning on Thursday, Jan. 15, fans will get together to show their St. John's pride. Those wearing red and white will receive a free raffle ticket. A $25 charge covers admission to the events, which include light fare, beer, wine and soda prior to the games.
Alumni can RSVP up to one week in advance for these events, and also purchase game tickets at the alumni rate - a $10 discount per ticket.
The alumni pregame receptions for contests at Madison Square Garden (UConn, Louisville, Duke and Georgetown) will be held on The Garden's second floor terrace. Alums can gain entry to The World's Most Famous Arena via 2 Penn Plaza.
The reception held prior to St. John's Feb. 22 tilt with Seton Hall at Carnesecca Arena will be held at Taffner Field House, the University's state-of-the-art basketball practice facility.
