Alumni Relations To Host Pregame Receptions

QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's University Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to bring fans excitement on the hardwood this season as it has announced that it will offer five reception packages that will include admittance to a pregame function as well as the game. The receptions, featuring light fare and a variety of beverage options, will take place prior to five men's basketball contests, including Fordham, Villanova, Louisville, Seton Hall and Pittsburgh.
On Dec. 13, the Red Storm will take on local rival Fordham at Carnesecca Arena at 4 p.m. Alumni Relations will host a pregame reception at the Sly Fox Inn at 2:30 p.m. prior to the game. This package runs at $50, a discount of $15 off of the face value of the tickets.
Alumni will have the chance to gather at Madison Square Garden on the second-floor terrace before St. John's faces Villanova at the World's Most Famous Arena at noon on Jan. 23 and prior to a 7 p.m. matchup with Louisville on Feb. 11. Both packages will feature a price of $75.
A pregame function will be held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 17 in the new D'Angelo Center on the Queens Campus before the Red Storm faces Seton Hall in BIG EAST action at 7:30 in Carnesecca Arena, with a package rate of $50.
The final pregame alumni reception of the 2009-10 season will take place on Feb. 27 at Stout NYC as STJ prepares for a noon tipoff with Pittsburgh. This package is listed at $65.
