Guard TyShwan Edmondson To Transfer From St. John's

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's head men's basketball coach Norm Roberts announced that freshman guard TyShwan Edmondson (Hopkinsville, Ky.) plans to transfer to another institution following the University's spring semester.

"We wish TyShwan the best in the future," said Roberts. "He leaves our University in good academic standing."

Edmondson played in 26 of 34 games as a rookie in 2008-09, averaging 1.7 points per contest and 1.0 rebounds in 10.0 minutes.
