Alumni Association To Host St. John's Game Watch Party

QUEENS, N.Y. - Alumni, don't miss the action as the local rivalry between St. John's and Rutgers heats up on the hardwood on Tuesday, Feb. 2 for the 7:30 p.m. BIG EAST contest. The Nassau County Chapter of the St. John's Alumni Association will host a game watch outing at Jameson's Bar & Grill, a sports bar in Floral Park, N.Y., that features 11 flat screen televisions, with festivities starting one hour prior to tip-off at 6:30 p.m. before the Red Storm takes on the Scarlet Knights.
The event will feature several St. John's basketball legends, including Hall of Fame coach Lou Carnesecca, Chris Mullin, Walter Berry, David Russell, Mel Davis, Frank Alagia, Bill Schaffer, Ron Rutledge, Felipe Lopez, Brian Mahoney and George Johnson.
Attendees can take part in a live auction and prize giveaways amid game action as part of the event.
The cost for the game watch is $25 per person, which includes hors d'oeuvres, and all proceeds will go to benefit the St. John's Athletics Carnesecca Initiative.
