- After opening the game on a 16-0 run that spanned just 3:38, St. John's went on a 12-0 run in 5:09 to take a 52-16 lead with 1:53 remaining in the half. St. John's then closed the game on a 23-4 run that covered the final 10:23 of regulation.
- St. John's, which shot 61.5 percent (40-of-65) in the game, made its first eight shots in the contest.
- St. John's had 10 different players score and also got at least one rebound from 10 different players.
- The Red Storm had 30 assists as a team, committed just 11 turnovers and converted 27 Westmont turnovers into 43 points.
- After dishing out 10 assists with no turnovers in the first half, Malik Boothe finished with a game-high 12 assists and just two turnovers. Boothe also added nine points and a game-high six steals.
- Justin Brownlee had 15 of his 18 points in the first half of action. The senior was 8-of-10 from the floor and registered the only two blocks of the contest.
- D.J. Kennedy was 3-of-3 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line as part of a 10-point effort that also included six assists and four rebounds.
- Seeing his first action since Nov. 28, 2009, Quincy Roberts scored seven points on 3-of-3 shooting and added five rebounds.
- Dwight Hardy (3-of-5) and Paris Horne (2-of-4) helped lead the Red Storm to a 9-of-18 performance from beyond the arc. Hardy finished with 15 points and two rebounds, while Horne added 12 points and four assists.
- Dwayne Polee II had 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting in his first action.
