Dunlap To Participate In 'A Step Up' Professional Development Symposium

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's men's basketball assistant coach Mike Dunlap will serve as a clinician this weekend in Dallas at the annual three-day "A Step Up" symposium. Dunlap joins nine other men's NCAA Division I assistants and will present on different on and off-the-court aspects of the game of basketball.
Head coach Steve Lavin's elite and formidable basketball staff is anchored in part by Dunlap, who has built a reputation as one of basketball's leading strategists and on-court instructors. With assistant coach Rico Hines and Special Assistant/Advisor Gene Keady, Dunlap is one of three St. John's basketball staff members with NBA coaching experience.
"I'm really looking forward to working with young coaches from across the nation in Dallas this weekend," said Dunlap. "I really enjoy giving back to the game."
