- The Red Storm had five blocks against Rutgers and now has 129 in 15 games this season, just one shy of the single-season school-record of 130 set in 1997-98.

Individual Notes

- Freshman forward JaKarr Sampson reached double-digit scoring for the second-straight game in BIG EAST play with 12 points.
