The Red Storm had five blocks against Rutgers and now has 129 in 15 games this season, just one shy of the single-season school-record of 130 set in 1997-98.

Individual Notes

Chris Obekpa blocked five shots in the contest to tie the single-season individual record of 76 swats. Walter Berry also totaled 76 blocks in 1985-86.
Sophomore guard D'Angelo Harrison led all scorers with 20 points, his 11th 20-point performance of the season. Harrison is averaging 23.7 points per game in three BIG EAST contests. Harrison also totaled a season-high with five assists on the game.
Freshman forward JaKarr Sampson reached double-digit scoring for the second-straight game in BIG EAST play with 12 points.
Sophomore Sir'Dominic Pointer reached double-figures for the third time this season, and first time in BIG EAST action, with a 10-point performance.
