- St. John's has won five-straight BIG EAST games, its longest conference winning streak since notching six-straight victories in 2010-11.
- St. John's had five players in double-figures for the first time since Feb. 14, 2012 against Seton Hall.
- St. John's improved to 1-1 in overtime games this season and 5-2 in games decided by five points or less.
- The Red Storm committed a season-low five turnovers, the eighth game this season with less than 10 miscues. St. John's is 7-1 when totaling fewer than 10 turnovers.

Individual Notes
- Sir'Dominic Pointer finished with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds to record his second-career double-double and second this season, both against DePaul. Pointer had 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Blue Demons on Jan. 19, 2013. The sophomore is averaging 11.0 points and a team-best 8.5 rebounds in the past four games.
- D'Angelo Harrison finished with a team-high 17 points, his 19th double-figure effort this season. Harrison finished 3-of-6 from long range, his third-consecutive game with three 3s.
- JaKarr Sampson scored 13 points to reach double-figures for the eighth-straight game. Sampson also added eight rebounds and is averaging 6.3 rebounds in the past four games.
- Phil Greene IV finished in double-figures for the second-straight game and 10th time this season with a 13-point effort.
- Jamal Branch made his fifth-straight start and scored 11 points for his fourth double-figure scoring game of the season.
- Chris Obekpa registered five blocks, his 10th game of the season with at least five swats.
- Marc-Antoine Bourgault was 1-of-1 from long range and finished with three points, his first points since Dec. 21 against UNC Asheville.
- Christian Jones had two points in three minutes of action and has scored in three of his last four appearances.
