- St. John's was held to a season-low 61 points, but held its opponent below the 60-point mark for the third time in three games. The Red Storm is allowing the opposition to score just 56.3 points per game this season.
- St. John's had two players with at least 10 rebounds (Balamou: 11; Mvouika 10) for the first time since Jan. 21, 2015 when Sir'Dominic Pointer had 12 boards and Chris Obekpa added 10.
- The Red Storm finished with 50 rebounds, the first time reaching the 50-rebound mark since pulling down 51 boards against Minnesota on Nov. 26, 2014.
Individual Notes
- Senior Felix Balamou matched a career-high with eight points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds, while also dishing out a career-high seven assists in a career-high 30 minutes.
- Ron Mvouika made his first-career start and registered his second-career double-double, first in a Red Storm uniform, with a 12-point, 10-rebound effort. The 10 rebounds matched a career-high.
- Yankuba Sima scored a career-high 13 points to record his first-career double-figure game. The freshman also matched a career-high with nine rebounds and added a career-high six blocks.
- Federico Mussini reached double-figures for the third time in three games with a 13-point effort. Mussini is the only Red Storm player to reach double-figures in all three games this season.
