Team Notes
- Two Red Storm players had double-doubles in the same game for the second time this season. Chris Obekpa and Sir'Dominic Pointer both recorded double-doubles against NJIT on Nov. 14, 2014.
- Four St. John's players scored in double-figures for the eighth time in the last nine games.
- St. John's outrebounded DePaul by a +16 margin (43-27), the largest rebound margin since Nov. 17 vs. Franklin Pierce (+23).
- The Red Storm shot 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from beyond the arc, the third game in the last five contests with a 3-point percentage over 55.0 percent.
Individual Notes
- D'Angelo Harrison finished with a season-high 33 points, his most since a 36-point effort vs. Villanova on Jan. 2, 2013. Harrison now has four-career games with at least 30 points, and 51 career games with at least 20 points. Harrison also pulled down 10 rebounds to record his second-straight double-double, third of the season and sixth of his career. Harrison has also finished in double-figure scoring in 101-of-116 career games played (87.1 percent). Harrison's six 3-point field goals were a season-high and his most since he also had six on Feb. 1, 2014 vs. Marquette. Harrison now has 2,061 career points.
- Sir'Dominic Pointer finished with 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting and added 11 rebounds, securing a double-double for the sixth time this season and the 11th time in his career. Pointer also added five blocks and has blocked at least five shots in four games this season. Over his last seven games, Pointer is averaging 16.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks, while shooting 50.0 percent (46-of-92) from the field and 80.0 percent (20-of-25) from the free throw line.
- Phil Greene IV finished with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting and added five rebounds and four assists. Greene has reached double-figure scoring in 11 of his last 12 games and 16 times overall this season. In his two games against DePaul this season, Greene has averages of 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals while shooting 48.0 percent (12-of-25) from the field and 90.9 percent (10-of-11) from the charity stripe.
- Rysheed Jordan finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Jordan has scored at least 14 points in eight of his last nine games and is averaging 15.8 points in that span. Jordan also set a new career-high with 10 made free throws.
