Team Notes
- The Red Storm improved to 9-1 at Carnesecca Arena matching the best mark since the 2006-07 season.
- St. John's improved to 6-0 this season when scoring at least 80 points.
- St. John's totaled a season-high 20 assists, the most in a game since a 22-assist effort vs. Marquette on March 8, 2014.
- St. John's had four players reach double-figure scoring for the 10th time in the last 12 games.
- The Red Storm held Seton Hall to 29.2 percent (7-of-24) from beyond the arc. The Pirates entered the game shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range.
- St. John's shot a higher percentage (48.4 percent) than its opponent (40.0 percent) for the fourth time in the last five games.
Individual Notes
- Sir'Dominic Pointer scored a game-high 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting, finishing with 20 or more points for the fifth time this season. Pointer also pulled down 10 rebounds, recording his seventh double-double of the season and 12th of his career. Pointer has reached double-figure scoring in 12-consecutive games. Pointer added three blocks and three assists.
- Phil Greene IV finished with 20 points, his third 20-point game this season and eighth of his career. Greene has reached double-figures in 19 games this season, including 14 of the past 15 contests. Greene also sank four 3-pointers, his fifth game this season with at least four treys.
- Rysheed Jordan scored 18 points, his 18th game this season scoring in double-figures and 32nd of his career. Jordan also dished out a season-high six assists and added six rebounds.
- D'Angelo Harrison scored 12 points and has reached double-figures in 87.3 percent (103-of-118) of his career games. Harrison also pulled down six boards and added three assists.
- Chris Obekpa scored six points and pulled down nine rebounds, his most since a 10-rebound game vs. Providence on Jan. 31, 2015. Obekpa also tallied three blocks and has at least three blocks in 16 of 26 games this season.
- Amar Alibegovic made his first career start, pulling down one rebound in nine minutes of play.
