Team Notes
- St. John's shot 66.7 percent (22-of-33) from the field in the first half, the highest percentage in a half since a 68.0 percent (17-of-25) first half performance on Feb. 16, 2014 vs. Georgetown. The 22 made field goals were the most in a half since Feb. 4, 2014 at Providence when the squad also made 22 field goals.
- St. John's shot 84.6 percent (11-of-13) from the charity stripe, a season-high and the best mark since shooting 85.7 percent (18-of-21) on Dec. 5, 2011 vs. Detroit.
- The Red Storm shot 57.9 percent (11-of-19) from beyond the arc, the best performance since Jan. 14, 2015 at Providence and the second-best mark of the season. The 11 made 3-pointers were a season-high and the most since March 18, 2014 vs. Robert Morris in the NIT First Round.
- St. John's committed just eight turnovers and has committed 10 or fewer turnovers in 14 games this season and four of the last five.
- The Red Storm improved to 13-0 this season when limiting the opponent to 70 points or less.
- Four St. John's players scored in double-figures for the seventh time in the last eight games.
Individual Notes
- Rysheed Jordan scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting to set a new career-best mark. Jordan has now scored at least 14 points in seven of his last eight games and is averaging 15.9 points over that span. Jordan also tallied seven rebounds and four assists. Jordan also set a career-high with six 3-point field goals made, surpassing his previous mark of three. The six 3-pointers made were the most by a St. John's player since Max Hooper made six from beyond the arc on Mar. 18, 2014 vs. Robert Morris.
- D'Angelo Harrison scored 21 points on 5-of-8 shooting and converted all nine of his free throw attempts. Harrison reached double figures for the 100th time in 115 career games played (87.0 percent) and also reached the 20-point mark for the 50th time. Harrison now has 2,028 career points. Harrison also pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds, recording his second double-double of the season and fifth of his career. Harrison added a season-high six assists, his most since also registering six against DePaul on Feb. 20, 2012.
- Sir'Dominic Pointer scored 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting and has reached double-figures in eight-consecutive games and 14 times overall this season. Pointer added a career-high eight blocked shots, the most for a Red Storm player since Chris Obekpa also had eight (Nov. 19, 2014 vs. LIU Brooklyn). Obekpa and Pointer are the only BIG EAST players this season with eight blocks in a game.
- Phil Greene IV scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting and has scored in double-figures in 15 games this season and 10 of his last 11 games.
- Amar Alibegovic established new career-highs in both points (seven) and field goals made (three).
- Felix Balamou, who made his first start of the season and eighth of his career, scored five points and tied career-highs in both rebounds (four) and minutes played (23).
