St. John's Head Coach Chris Mullin...
On the team's effort during the losing streak:
"They've given great effort. There's no question about that. I was just telling [our team] it's really important how they handle this. The good thing is we have [three days] until we play again. It's really important how they handle these next few days."
On Kassoum Yakwe's development:
"[Kassoum] has been great. Most of our young guys have really worked hard and showed improvement in all areas of the game. Kassoum has been fantastic. It's unfortunate that we lost [Yankuba] Sima, but the good thing is Kassoum is going to get more minutes and he's done great with them."
On Seton Hall forward Angel Delgado:
"He had 17 boards and 15 points. Tonight he was pretty damn good. We went zone to try and keep them from hurting us with dribble penetration. I thought it worked pretty well, but they really crashed the boards."
On Seton Hall:
"They have a nice, balanced team. Their guards are really good and talented. Their big men really play their roles nicely. They're really well coached and have a nice team."
On the beginning of the second half:
"The first half I thought both teams struggled; it was an eight-point game. The start of the second half cost us the game."
