On last night's game against DePaul:
"We basically lost the game in the first half being outscored by 17 [points]. The second half we actually won by nine, but we dug too much of a hole in the first half."
On Creighton:
"Creighton will be a really tough game for us. They're big and have a really good point guard, so we'll regroup and try to give a better effort [on Sunday]."
On his overall experience in year one:
"To sum it up, it's [been] motivational. We are taking all these lessons, will continue to work hard and [we're] going to flip the script. That's what the offseason will be focused on."
On encouraging signs moving forward:
"All of our young guys have really improved and have had good moments. Good athletes have memories, they remember these times and they work hard to change them. I think that's going to be the mindset [in the offseason]. All these guys have made tremendous improvements, there is no denying that."
