On playing Xavier tough:
"I thought we played really well. The biggest difference was rebounds and free throws. I couldn't be more proud of my team. My guys played winning basketball. To overcome that difference of rebounds and free throws is tough."
On Xavier:
"Xavier is a great team. They're one of the best teams in the country so all the credit goes to them."
On Felix Balamou's impact tonight:
"He's been playing well. He's an incredible athlete and when he attacks he becomes a special player. Felix didn't play many minutes leading up to this year, but he's played well pretty much throughout the year. [Tonight] he played a really good game."
On his message to the team about staying the course:
"There's no other option; that's what we do. We work hard, we play together and we win and lose together. That was a winning performance. It's not going to show in the win-loss column, but that's winning basketball, there's no question about that. So I'm proud of my team."
