On Kassoum Yakwe being named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team:
"All our freshmen had pretty productive seasons, but Kassoum really came on [strong]. He started the season on the bench and as soon as he got eligible, he improved each and every game. He's a really hard worker, really nice kid, very grateful and we're happy for him."
On the matchup with Marquette:
"They have a really good team with really talented bigs up front, [who] are very physical. Their guards are good players, so it's a tough matchup. We played them pretty well both times [in the regular-season]. We have three good days to prepare and hopefully it's a good game on Wednesday night."
On the difference Yankuba Sima can make on Wednesday:
"We'll find out Wednesday night, but they have two bigs they play quite a bit. On paper, it's a good matchup. We've been playing Sima and Kassoum together a little bit, now that they're both healthy at the same time. Another big is important to have against a big frontline like Marquette."
On what a win would do for the program moving forward:
"I think we have a pretty good psyche already. We know we have a lot of work to do. We have a lot of motivation already, so we're looking to prepare and play a good game on Wednesday night."
