Grace Kramer Named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week

QUEENS, N.Y. -- After winning two games in three appearances in the circle last week, St. John's softball junior Grace Kramer has been named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week.
Kramer struck out 25 batters over 15.0 innings and went 2-1 with a 1.87 ERA. Opposing hitters batted only .180 against Kramer as she allowed nine hits all week.
Against Saint Peter's, the San Diego, Calif., native struck out 12 en route to a complete-game, one hitter.
In a win over Butler, Kramer fanned 11 as she tossed her second complete game of the week.
This marks the first Pitcher of the Week award for Kramer this season. She has been named to the conference Honor Roll twice.
St. John's (19-17, 3-5 BIG EAST) is back in action this weekend when the team travels to R.I. to take on Providence April 16-17.
