QUEENS, N.Y. -- Saturday morning at MCU Park in Coney Island St. John's head men's basketball coach Chris Mullin joined thousands of transit workers at annual Family Day to show appreciation for their dedicated service. The Brooklyn native signed autographs, posed for pictures and visited with youngsters from the local community. In addition to the meet and greet with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer, the action packed event also featured live music, dozens of barbeques and entertainment for a crowd expected to top 5,000.
