Golden State Warriors Hold Practice in Taffner Field House

The defending World Champion Golden State Warriors held practice in Taffner Field House on the campus of St. John's University for the second time in the past three seasons on Tuesday before departing for their Wednesday game at Oklahoma City.
QUEENS, N.Y. - For most, it would be once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. For the St. John's men's basketball team, it's a biannual occurrence.
The defending World Champion Golden State Warriors held practice in Taffner Field House on the campus of St. John's University for the second time in the past three seasons on Tuesday before departing for their Wednesday game at Oklahoma City.
Members of the Red Storm were able to take in the entire practice before interacting with the team after the session concluded. Most notably, each member of the team personally met with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green.
The Red Storm viewed practice before leaving for the AdvoCare Invitational in Orlando, which opens on Thursday against Oregon State at 2 p.m. Warriors star Klay Thompson, a product of Washington State, gave the Johnnies an extra word of encouragement before taking on his former conference rival.
