Staten Island Spirit Night Set for Oct. 6

QUEENS, N.Y. (Sept. 28, 2017) -- On Friday, Oct. 6, the St. John's men's basketball team will make its annual pilgrimage to Richmond County for Staten Island Spirit Night.
Staten Island Spirit Night will bring the excitement and tradition of St. John's Men's Basketball to the University's Staten Island campus, a sprawling suburban landscape that is home to nearly 2,000 full and part-time students in the city's southernmost borough.
Festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. inside the Staten Island Campus Gym with doors opening at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all St. John's fans and free t-shirts will be distributed to the first 300 students in attendance. In addition, free snacks and refreshments will be available.
Besides getting a first look at the Red Storm, St. John's students in attendance will also have the opportunity to win several valuable prizes including an iPad Air, tickets to games at Madison Square Garden against Georgetown and Villanova, and a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card.
St. John's student-athletes will also be available for a meet and greet after the conclusion of the formal event.
