Robert Rosa Joins St. John’s Staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Services and Branding

New York native will oversee several key aspects of the department’s external relations
QUEENS, N.Y. – Robert Rosa has joined the St. John's staff as the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Services and Branding. In this role, Rosa will guide the department in some of its most visible aspects, including graphic design, publications and branding strategy.
Rosa comes to Queens following two years at the Big 12 Conference, the last of which was spent as the league's creative services coordinator. In that position, Rosa managed and maintained the conference's brand strategy and asset library while fulfilling design requests from internal and external entities. Before being elevated to the title of creative services coordinator, Rosa spent a year as the Big 12's multimedia design coordinator, creating and distributing compelling multimedia materials. He also led the creative direction for a number of high-profile events, including media days and conference championships.
Before heading to the Big 12, Rosa spent a year working at his alma mater, SUNY New Paltz, as an assistant in the athletic communications office. In this role, Rosa took charge of the department's graphic design initiatives and managed the Hawks' official website.
As an undergraduate, Rosa served as a graphic design intern in New Paltz's athletic department for two years.
Rosa, a 2016 graduate of New Paltz, hails from Sullivan County, New York.
