Burrell and Horne helped lead Overseas Elite to TBT Championships four times in the last six editions of the single-elimination, winner-take-all tournament.
As seniors in 2010-11, Burrell and Horne, both of whom were 1,000-point scorers, capped their decorated St. John's careers by helping lead the Red Storm back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade. St. John's won 21 games that season, including six ranked victories and four over top-10 opponents.
Over his four years in Queens, Horne recorded 1,199 points, 377 rebounds and 126 steals in 129 career appearances with the Red Storm. He sank 148 3-pointers, tied for fourth place with St. John's great Felipe Lopez on the program's career list in that category. Burrell, also a four-year letterwinner at St. John's, finished his career with 1,006 points and 609 rebounds in 122 games with the Red Storm. The 2008 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team selection currently ranks 31st on the program's career rebounding list.
Since their graduation in 2011, both Burrell and Horne have gone to play professionally all over the world with stints in France, Japan, Germany, Greece, Turkey and Finland.
