Redshirt Junior Elected to Stay Home in North Carolina for Personal Reasons due to ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's redshirt junior David Caraher has taken a personal leave of absence from the men's basketball program due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 6-foot-6 wing elected to remain home in North Carolina with his family following the Christmas break.
"David has been a great teammate and member of our basketball program, and we have a lot of respect for him as a person," said St. John's Head Coach Mike Anderson. "We fully support his decision."
The Red Storm resumes BIG EAST action Wednesday in Cincinnati taking on Xavier at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
